In summary, of 30000 case studies:

placebo group: there were 185 symptomatic cases and 30 "severe" cases
vaccine group: there were 11 symptomatic cases and 0 "severe" cases

Sounds pretty good I guess, but for the non statisticians among us, how significant is this really?
Can we assume that roughly 15000 people got the vaccine and 15000 got the placebo?
Is it possible to know how many people were actually exposed to the COVID-19 virus? (I assume that volunteers were not deliberately infected as that would be unethical.)
Were there any deaths from COVID in the placebo group?

(Just raising some questions - I am not an anti-vaxer!)
