In the '34 - '39 time period, I remember milk wagons pulled by horses. They (the milkmen) delivered milk each day, putting the glass bottles of unhomogenized into insulated boxes, plus cottage cheese and/or eggs, if you wanted.

Even as late as 1950 or so, we had milk delivered.


Yes, and how many marriages suffered because of milk deliveries to the door? Just wondering.
