In the latest quarter iPhone had an 11.9% smartphone global market share
Less for all mobile phones.The only source I could easily find said 8% a couple of years ago.

Of course the word niche has no precise meaning in terms of size defines it as a segment of a market.So the iPhone qualifies..
If you disagree instead of spouting uninformed insulting opinions please give us some authoritarian sources saying 8% or 12%is not a niche
.To me less than 8% or 12% is a niche. Not something that is dominating the market. Except in profits.

An entry ticket to the 1% starts with an annual income of about $394,000

If you think most Tesla owners make over $394,000 a year you are dreaming. Or maybe just envious.

I own a 2014 Tesla S85 and come nowhere close to making that much a year. I said probably because nobody has the exact figures.
