In the winter (assuming you live in a place that has cold winters), each week try nudging your thermostat down a couple degrees. You'll adjust to cooler indoor temps pretty well over time - wear layers, get some periodic exercise to warm yourself up. Use a space heater for limited areas you spend a lot of time in if you really need to. Turn the thermostat down a lot right before you go to bed.
