Just think, and each rider had a bottle of vodka in their hands, not a single drop........amazing people, the Russians.

Just for fun, they could save one of those degrees of movement, such as the arms swinging independently, or the spinning of the whole platform, for after a certain special effect: The sound and vibration of metallic and mechanical failure, via a sound system within the main arms or some such. First the loud sounds/sensations, then suddenly rather wrong feeling movement.

What? I thought it was supposed to be scary!
