I live in Toronto, Canada and I am in grade 12. I want to start investing in the stock market. I was think of investing in Index funds but I am not sure which one. (US or Canada) (large cap or Small Cap)

I have about $2000 I want to invest for the long term (20-30 years). What do you think would be best? Also I am think of investing $25 monthly for now. Along with my first investment of $2000.

Also which is best place to buy the index fund from? I was think of buy it from Td's e funds because of the low mer.
