OK OK... So I know I've heard this before. If you link a new bank account to your ING savings, they put a 5 business day hold on your funds.

I recently called about opening an ING investment account and while I had the representative on the line, requested that an old secondary checking account that I had be removed because the checking account was no longer active.

I received a letter in the mail today notifying me that my funds would be frozen for 5 business days. No big deal for me, but why? I'm un-linking an account, not adding one.

I opened a new ING investment account before I knew about the hold and I sure hope this does not affect my auto-transfer that I requested from my ING savings to my new ING investment account.
