I was reviewing the coverage provided by our credit card (in this case Costco VISA). I don't think this requires a log-on.

If I read this correctly, trip cancellation (so long as we didn't do it) is covered.

Medically it is a bit confusing...getting recommendations and consultations, but the actual medical costs are not covered. So if you have to be med-evaced off a cruise ship, you're paying the chopper. This one doesn't really seem to do much except bring loved-ones to the bedside if applicable.

Makes me wonder if I should get a separate travel medical policy (from my primary insurance carrier) next time I head overseas. I assume there is such a thing. I'm thinking one chopper evac off a ship would pay for it (I only use that example because I was on a ship where that happened once).
