Last week the interest rates went down, and this will raise bond prices, similarly the REIT stocks whose dividends should be more valuable instead of going up, the REIT's that I follow all are down. Interesting.

Separately, I haven't seen the high yielding (those in the 7% to 8% range) preferred prices haven't moved up meaningfully.

I guess at the end of the day, the economic performance is far more important than the dividend yield. Something to keep in mind.
