I have made an investment for the first time so I really understand very little of the process. I sent my cheque at the end of the Christmas holiday and it was obviously delayed for some time. I had looked at what I thought was the market price on the wired index
site of around 880$. On 4th December the price appeared to dive down to next to nothing and then bumped along for a few days at about 48 and then climbed rapidly again to about 800. To confuse me even further when I received my Purchase contract note it said I had bought at $28.25!!. Help can someone reconcile these hugely discrepant amounts in simple terms. Also could someone recommend a site where I can follow the progress of my shares and perhaps look at the past perfomance in figures which look like my share price. Thank You
