Also is there a most preferred way among beginner investors to go about looking for investment advisor?

Obviously no. There are many ways to live comfortably, even with out a lot of money!

Investing is one reasonable and accessible method to accumulate wealth. And starting early, investing regularly even if small amounts and letting the power of compounding be your friend is a great way to have more money in the future.

Don't follow twitter. Just not sure how they are going to monetize the platform and keep it from becoming the home of trolls, Russian hackers, political operatives, and others bent on destroying the democratic process.

SNIX01,

Personally I would avoid investment advisors entirely. If you are not comfortable making your own decisions, use a very low fee index fund or mutual fund.

If you much use an advisor, make sure it is one that charges you a fee for service and does not try to sell you products or funds for which they receive a commission.
