I think there is an interesting comparison between golfing and investing. Ask yourself how much you have improved year after year in investing and golfing if you are a golfer. Unless you have good fundamentals your progress in both peaks very soon and stays like that for rest of your life. I’ve come across some golfers golfing last 20 years who have been averaging about the same score many of those years. They had some good days and great days but mostly bad and worst days. Why is this? One reason is fundamentals. Unless you have sound fundamentals in investing or golfing it is very unlikely you will be consistent and excel. Before it is too late stop trading and start learning fundamentals. All investing styles require fundamentals. What is your style?
