As a relative newcomer I'm keen to get some advice before making the investment plunge on my own.

What's involved in joining an investment club? Are they generally for experienced investors or are there clubs that cater for the inexperienced?

Is it necessary to meet face to face or do some clubs function at a virtual level?

Appreciate your advice.

Dear Markdavo

Investment Clubs are great for a number of friends who are generally new to the market and want to expand their knowledge. Just grab a bunch of friends who want to participate in the stockmarket.

It is good to meet face to face as usually a function
such as a group dinner or drinks occurs beforehand or afterhand.

I suggest you read the Beardstown Ladies Investment Club on an example of an suggestion of how an investment club works.
