I understand that an IRA contribution for the previous tax year must be made by April 15.

My question is about non-standard tax years.
My tax year goes from July to July, so I filed my 1998 taxes not too long ago. When is the latest that I could make an IRA contribution for the '98 tax year (ended July '99 for me)?

Sorry if this question is covered some where else; I searched but did not find.
