If your employee is asking for 8 hours of assistance during the height of busy season, the appropriate response when someone juggles schedules to get you those hours on short notice is "thank you" not "the resource isn't our idea of perfection."

I gave a civil reply back, but really wanted to say "scr#w you, our person is suddenly unavailable and don't ask for any resources in the future"

I definitely won't be making any effort for any of your future requests.
