Is 12% the max.? If so, I would split the 12% invested between the company 401K 6% and contribute 6% to a Roth Brokerage Account. In the Brokerage account you can pick your own stocks that you want to invest in. I know the Roth is after taxes; however, you get to pick and choose where you want that $2,000.00 invested. I just started my Roth IRA brokerage account in March and I am having great success...... thanks to all the fools....
