Is anyone going to get to the 11,ooo point?

After a decade in the workplace, I maxed out my 401k and Roth IRA for the first time this year. If all goes well, I'll contribute the full $11K (plus $3K for the Roth IRA) in 2002.

I just raised my 401K to just above 7,000 a year....I would like to get to that 11,000 point but just can't pull it off.

Saving $7K a year is a laudable achievement, and you're getting that free money, too! You're way ahead of a lot of folks I know, so don't sell yourself short.

Good Luck,
JDOyster
