Is it true that by placing a high sell order on a particular stock-this will prevent the borrowing of my shares.

I have heard many different tactics - hold the certs, place high sell orders - etc...

Could someone please enlighten me on this subject or lead me to a page that explains this.

I don't think this is possible, although I'm sure many people wish it was. (I've heard about all the tactics, too.)
