Is margin interest deductible on schedule A - itemized deductions, line 13, or must one use form 4952? Any help would be appreciated.

== == ==
The instructions for line 13 of Schedule A say that you need not file form 4952 if all three of the following apply:
1) Your investment interest is not more than your investment income from interest and dividends,
2) You have no other deductible investment expenses, and
3) You have no disallowed investment interest expense from 1999.
That just about sums it up.
