Isn't this supposed to be the worst bear market in living memory?

Chris,

Average bear market's over last 53 years of XAO is 3.6 years with the average decline being 39.25% or 2200 from highs of 3400.The longest bear market was from 1969 to 74, 5 years & also the biggest % drop 50%.

The XAO is not yet dropped 15% from the it's highs.

A 3 year XAO chart shows large % swings up & down that indicate churning & sector rotation but most of all volatility which boils down to indecision.

It's a big ship that takes time to change coarse the longer the bull move & the last one was well above average then the longer the market takes to turn bearish.

It isn't the worst bear market in living memory.........yet.
