It is heartening to know that so many of you are really true believer of Buy and Hold. I was, but am trying to change my style a little.

Several years ago, I read Shelby Davis's book almost to the end. My recollection is that he started with a working knowledge of the insurance industry, and he kept buying and buying, like the energying bunny.

I never read any of Buffett's writings. I think he also got started in the insurance industry : Geico.

Well, you can pretty much say I am still a B&H guy. Sometimes it saddens me to find out a fellow Fool whom I thought otherwise, would just sell. Well, nothing is sacred anymore. For example, it surely saddens if Tom and David are not B&H folks because I think they preach it, and we deserve a little clarification. Tim is OK, he never say he is a purist.

Folks, I am very surprised. I think there are more B&H here than there.

George
