It should also be pointed out that they are hucksters. They prey on ignorance to sell books, movie tickets, and make paid speaking appearances. It's really no different than the traveling tent revivalist who got a full collection plate by making the healthy women in the wheel chair stand up.

Do you really think it that blatant? I always had the feeling/impression that people like Behe (and, to drag up an older name, Humphreys) truly believed what they wrote. But their objectivity was so clouded by their passionate faith that they twist their logic (and sometimes the data) to reach the apriori conclusion.

I never had the feeling that the tent revivalists believed a word of what they said or did. It's all a stage show designed to separate the rubes from their cash.
