It was never about content it was about recs...............say it out loud with me........ all together........" IT WAS ABOUT RECS

You may be partially correct since Recs are a tool that Motley Fool invented to enhance their website and user experience. When recs become an avenue for ostracizing unsuspecting Fools (as in private listserves), then it appears some may be using the system against itself. Some unmentionable users exhibit certain narcissistic tendencies which self-prohibits themselves from being undone. Do something that can be perceived as even slightly tarnishing the narcissist's self image, and said narcissist will retalliate. In the case of MF removing a narcissists post, said narcissist will challenge MF in a permanant game of belittlement and electronic cat and mouse. In the case of a person tarnishing a narcissists brilliant glow, the person can expect untrue accusations that attempt to ruin the person's reputation in the community. But once you, as a normal healthy individual recognizes this, you know what the narcissist personality is going to do even before he or she does it.

More evidence that you may be correct about it being about recs, is that certain someone's in question have made it a game in here, writing posts they hope will get pulled, and therefore taking bets on the exact time said posts get pulled. Now, maybe all this is or isn't useage that one may argue in favor of, but the strongest arguments are by MF, that this privately owned forum doesn't allow this sort of shenannigans.

Perhaps Fools and Fool's Fools have a right to be offended by any user that would link to photos of people "giving the finger" to Motley Fool. As a certain user in question has done, as of this reply. I don't know about you, but I think anyone who uses Motley Fool as an avenue to direct uber-recc'd-post gawkers to pictures of them giving the finger to Tom and David Gardner...should be banned. And this place is probably better off without the minor contingency who would argue in favor of such calculated, concentrated malice.
