all over again.

Chevy dealer replaces customer's Corvette after employee's 148-mph street race
https://www.yahoo.com/autos/chevy-dealer-replaces-customers-...

The California Chevrolet dealer whose technician was caught street racing a Dodge Charger in a customer's C8 Corvette has made good by allowing the owner to trade in his car on a replacement at the dealer's expense – taxes and all.

AC *LOL*

I don't seem to REMEMBER a "Nanny electronic recorder box" anywhere in the Bueller farce/fiasco.

The Chevy dealer prolly SAVED a lot by doing the no-cost swap, versus losing litigation to the {irate} customer.

I do wonder whether the Chevy tech continues to be employed.

a man who has done a "trial sit" in a C8--I liken it to sitting up in a {plush} coffin; the sides are too high & the height diff between your "seat" & the floor ain't enuff

Positive points: Excellent value in the super car class {Make no doubt--it IS a member}, stylish, & the exhaust "notes" are (cockpit) selectable

Do you really need one when the Ferrari is in the wooded ravine behind the house?

I think that's probably a no.

I think the models after 1982 just went downhill. I remember riding in a C4 model and feeling like I was dragging on the ground. Haven't been in any of models since.

I "drove" a Ferrari one weekend when I lived in Las Vegas in the late 1970's. It looked a lot like thissssssssss:

except it was RED, had a Ferrari one cylinder Diesel motor, & a tiller attachment. It was TUFF to put a garden into caliche soil!

a man who rented an early {new} Camaro convertible from Enterprise {here in NW FLA} to try one & found the outward visibility too d@mned restricted to even be considered--a definite disappointment--it was kinda like looking outta slits inside a military pillbox. Bot a Mustang GT convert afterwards.
