It's the states who have the problems.

Here in TX, we usually have 2 weeks of early in person voting. This year we have 3 weeks of in person voting.

In all of TX, more people have voted early this year than voted total in 2016. In Houston, 80% of the eligible voters have voted.....and that's a major metropolitan area.

I'm not sure why other states don't follow our example. Oh, and you need to have 'picture ID' to vote early.

You can also request an absentee ballot if you are over 65, out of the state on the election date, or medically disabled.

They will also move a voting machine outside to the parking lot at most voting locations to allow handicap people to vote from their car (with a handicap sticker on it) by prior arrangement if they want to go that way. ID required of course.

Likely they'll still be some lines on Tuesday for those who waited to the last day.

In Ft Worth, they had mail in ballots and of 80,000 received, over 20,000 ballots - they had such a crappy print job done by the lowest bidder for the job - that they couldn't read the bar code with the automatic vote counting machines. Having to try and decipher all of them by human intervention by election day.......

I'm sure in states with millions of mail in ballots, they'll be hundreds of lawsuits over erasures, double markings, unsigned or dated signatures (or witnesses as required some places), etc. Or filled out wrong......another 'hanging chad' mess......
