I remember hearing that the flu vaccine is usually about 70% effective so that's great news.

But now comes the hard part. How careful should the regulators be about releasing this to the general public? Side effects could take months to become apparent.

Then there are the anti-vaxers. What do we do about them?

And who is going to coordinate distribution of these vaccines? Unfortunately we have an outgoing president who is such a dope that he won't work with Biden. So coordinating distribution of a vital treatment is going to be a political football.

I wish I could be more optimistic.
