it's a problem, but it's not our problem to mandate cures.

400 years ago, most of the midwest and most of New England was pristine forests. We chopped down nearly all of them to fuel industry, and to provide space for farms to feed the people. As we expanded west, we chopped down the forests for more farms and livestock.

When we got to NE and KS, we plowed up the grasslands...which turned out to create the dust bowl.......

As populations expand..they need more living room and more land for crops.

I notice you didn't call for those countries to limit their growth and populations. Why not? .........

If you want to buy up the land and preserve it...great......

otherwise, you're probably living on forest land that was cleared......and you feel no guilt....... but if the OTHER guy does it, you get upset.
