I've noted for some time how smitten TG has consistently been with BWLD. There's plenty to like in the numbers. I've also made note of how the local Wild Wings in my hometown is usually full of patrons.

The thing I can't get past with this stock is my personal experience. The last trip I made there was over a year ago, and it discouraged me enough that I haven't returned since. The food just wasn't that great, and this comes from someone who likes his wings. It was a step up from Hooters wings but not by much.

If I'm spending my hard earned cash to go out to eat with the family I want the whole enchilada -- good atmosphere, good service, reasonable cost, and good food. There's enough choices out there that you don't need to settle for less. Following the philosophy of Peter Lynch to buy what you know, BWLD just didn't measure up for me. I'm planning a return visit just to see if the last experience was an anomoly, but I'm a hard sell on this one. In fact I've just convinced myself to look a little closer at a restaurant franchise that has never failed to provide a good dining experience -- Famous Daves.
