A group of men detained at Washington County Detention Center in Arkansas say that the jail's medical staff gave them the anti-parasite drug ivermectin last year, without their consent, to treat COVID-19.... On Wednesday, the American Civil Liberties Union, on behalf of the inmates, filed a federal lawsuit against the jail and its doctor. The Food and Drug Administration and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have repeatedly warned against the use of ivermectin for COVID.......county sheriff Tim Helder confirmed that the facility's doctor Dr. Robert Karas prescribed ivermectin....the jail's medical staff told inmates the ivermectin pills were "vitamins," "antibiotics," and/or "steroids." ...Dayman Blackburn's... medical records, according to the lawsuit, show that he received nearly 6.3 times the approved dosage of ivermectin based on his height and weight. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/arkansas-inmates-ivermectin-fed...Tuskegee redux.
'ivermectin!" - it's one of those like "CRT!" that the non-diverse bubble feels safe and comfy harping on.(LOL - you spent trillions on this problem and horse meds is what you have to talk about. Here's to a cohesive country....;)
This is less about "ivermectin" than about a prison doctor ignoring medical standards, and prisoners lied to and treated as guinea pigs against their will. Why do you think they were lied to? I suspect ivermectin is cheaper than real covid treatments. Or the prison hired the worst/cheapest doctor they could find.
