Sure>> each company feels like they're "covering" you
if they're offering this (or the medical reimbursement)plan! It's not like they're kicking
in cash like with medical benefits or a pension!
They're NOT covering me for this!
I am the one who is funding the plan with my money.
They're earning interest on my "held" money to offset
the out of pocket expenses!
I am also the one who has to do the running around
to make sure that I've got all the paperwork in order
the way each plan administrator wants it. They all
want it differently, believe me! I have to prove to
everyone and GOD that I incurred expenses to have
someone watch the child after school until I can
get home!
What a hassle. When all I do is change my job,
I get into this mess. Should no one with kids in
day care change their jobs during the year?
Is the IRS making the rules or are the companies
with the plans?
