Jakk has licensce to make Disney toys.
So what, to your comment. Yes Jakk has a license to
make Harry Potter toys for a long time as it does
Disney. This is the way the toy manufactures work
with promoters. Also , if you read the news on Jakk
they are going to spend advertising dollars promoting what they have exclusive license to make - not otherwise. Also, if you want to know the difference between Jakk and Mattel which may be the reason why you are posting on Jakk's site Jakk line of toys are more action originated. That Jakk line of toys requires computer chips. Mattel on the other hand is into Chinese made stuff dolls. There are very
good reason that dealt with earnings, managements and
or aquistion that brought Mattel shares values down.
I read this in some Mag New Article( I believe Money
Mag.) about the Toy industry and undervaluations thereof which did not mention Jakk at all several months back as Jakk was not known by the Journalist d
back. Jakk was not mentioned in this article or mentioned in the article.
RE Harry Potter toys specificly. My personal
experience is to pass by Waldenbook Store and
they have a store window exhibit of Harry Potter books. The word BOOKS is the key here and Harry
Potter. 1st everytime I walk by this exhibit
which is usually twice a day there is no one
looking at Harry Potter books. This is a store
inside a Mall and its the store itself has
heavy foot traffic , but never near the Harry
Potter exhibit. Thus , either Harry Potter book are
not selling or on the way down. SECOND, AND THIS
IS MORE IMPORTANT, HOW DO YOU COMBINE A BOOKSTORE
WITH TOYS ON THE BOOKS. THIS JUST DOESN'T WORK.
BOOKS ARE FOUND IN BOOKSTORES AND NOT TOYS.
If you went to a baseball game and vender was
sell the caps of the home team would you more
likely to buy the cap their at the ballpark or
buy the cap by looking for the cap at some swap store. Get the idea with the concept of toys and books,
if they were sold in the same place , their would
be no problem , so if Mattel can make a deal with
Waldenbooks to sell Harry Potter toys next to their
books , this would work, but toys in a bookstore
are clutter to the purpose of books.
