I recently started working with the Indianapolis Jaycees, and love it! Anyone else here associated with the Junior Chamber of Commerce?

Thanks!

Sorry, I'm a rooster (too old) now:).

But I was active in the Akron, OH Jaycees when I lived there and was in the right age group. Our main project was the roping and staking of the course for the (what was at the time) Firestone World Series of Golf (now the NEC WS, I think). Between this and marshalling the course during the tournament, we earned about $30K/year, which we used to fund all sorts of worthwhile community projects.

Enjoy yourself! It's a great organization!

Remembering the good times,

We in the Indianapolis area are trying to get former Jaycees involved by offering associate memberships. *grin* Our numbers are going up, and we're trying to get the "over 40" crowd back to assist with our projects.

If you are interested, check with your local jaycees. They may be doing the same thing.
