It's hard to see, but it looks like he was put in on the driver's side...then we see him down on the passenger side. How did he get from one side to the other. I'm pretty sure there are no door knobs on the inside of the back seat. There is another vehicle in the way to see everything. That is why they need to release the body cam video.

Public release of information before a criminal case goes to trial causes big problems for the courts because it prejudices the pool of potential jurors. Thus, the investigators and the prosecutors should not release any details about a crime until the case actually goes to trial.

Of course, the authorities cannot stop private citizens from posting videos of a crime to U-Tube or from discussing a crime on the Internet or on a radio talk show. That's our right to free speech and freedom of the press, guaranteed by the first amendment. And they also can't stop the news media from reporting the details of a crime that their reporters can ascertain.
