jh4986: "We have 500K in 401K, 850K in brokerage accounts, plus 180K UTMA/UGMA accounts for our two children (14, and 11). I guess my total asset not counting house is about 1.5 mil now."

The UTMA?UGMA accounts are not your assets and should not be included in the tally.

Those accounts are assets of your children, and you are simply the custodian.

You cannot lawfully spend those account funds on anything that you want.
