JLC:"Buffet talks about raising taxes on the rich, often comparing his secretary's pay to his while glossing over all his "business expenses" that give him the ultra rich lifestyle. He says he will give his fortune away when he dies, why not now?"

t: Buffett still lives in the same house he bought decades ago in Omaha NE. Hardly the 'lifestyles' of the rich in Hollywood where they live in 30 million dollar houses in Malibu , Beverly Hills, or Hollywood.

"- Warren Buffett has donated roughly $2.9 billion of Berkshire Hathaway Inc BRKa.N stock to four family charities and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the latest but not largest contribution in his plan to give away his fortune."

"It boosted his donations to the charities to more than $37.4 billion since Buffett, who turns 90 on Aug. 30, began giving his Berkshire shares away in 2006."

Hmmm....and he plans to give most of his fortune to charity.

and you fault him for an 'elite lifestyle'? Just how much travel does an 90 year old do? From Omaha NE? Yeah, he does deduct 'business expenses' when he incurs them. and of course, likely the connections and computers he uses to manage his empire.
