There is a good interview with her in the LA Times.https://www.latimes.com/entertainment-arts/music/story/2021-...
I have read most every one of these I ran across; the best so far IMO is the piece in the weekend NYT: 50 Reasons to Love Joni Mitchell’s ‘Blue’The singer-songwriter questioned everything on her fourth album. Twenty-five musicians speak about the LP’s enduring power on its 50th anniversary. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2021/06/20/arts/music/jo...It’s not my favorite album, although it’s certainly a classic. #1 for me would be “Song to a Seagull” (her first), followed by “Ladies” and then maybe “Blue”; close call with “Court and Spark”.My favorite artist. Listen to her all the time. Mrs. Goofy doesn’t like her; too shrill. Ah well, can’t have a perfect match in everything, I guess.
She's not my favorite artist but an amazing songwriter. I loved "Miles of Aisles" when it came out in the 70s. Still have it, I bought "Blue" for the first time last week. The heavier vinyl is so rich compared to the other stuff...glad I waited.
