Of course they do.

We’re not computers with a set of on/off switches where you can program the outcome based on a set of predetermined rules.

We are complex human beings under complex situations that require careful deliberation when it comes to interpreting laws based on our understanding of the law and its intent.

That’s why 2 highly intelligent people like Chief Justice Roberts and Justice Ginsburg can look at the same set of facts pertaining to the same law and reach two different opinions.

There’s nothing unusual with that.

You need to start thinking outside the box.
