When I first found this site I immediately wanted to "win" by being at the top and after a fast start all my hopes were dashed after a bug ruined a bunch of my picks (I was told the problem would be fixed, but it doesn't really matter now). In a way I am happy that happened, because now I can just try out different strategies. If I was really concerned about winning, I would have been more conservative and learned less. So even though every thing I am going to try has been done by people before, I get to do it myself. :) For example I am picking all the biggest winners from the previous day and rating them to overperform with the idea that I'll close them all after 7 days. Let's see what happens. If I get creamed, maybe I'll do the same thing next week choosing all the current winners to underperform.
