Just in case you were wondering, you can't break a dry spaghetti stick in half.

Like any good engineer, I observe my processes and make improvements.

Dry pasta, like spaghetti, is very brittle. When you apply force at the ends of the stick, the flexing pasta in the middle of the stick can cause multiple fractures as described above. If one instead applies the force at the desired point of fracture, one gets a clean break. All that's required is a bit of thinking and a belief that you can do better.
