Just out of curiosity, I went to Amazon and looked at the index of Gore's new book.

The book appears to be well indexed - there are 24 pages of it at the back. Of this 592 page book, how many of those pages do you think Gore uses to discuss nuclear power? Two. According to the index, the subject of nuclear power appears on pages 354-55. It is probably even less than two whole pages. Probably the bottom of page 354 and the top of page 355 gets some mention of nuclear power, and that is probably the usual litany of lies, half-truths and misrepresentations about the nuclear industry that Gore has used in the past.

Admittedly, Gore's book is about more than just energy policy. He also discusses information technology and genetic science, among other subjects. But if this book is truly about "The Future", then energy policy has got to be an important part. As usual, nuclear power is apparently all but ignored, or at best, damned with faint praise. If anyone has bought the book or downloaded the Kindle version, I would be happy to learn a summary of what Gore says about nuclear power on pages 354-55.
