Yes, the assumption that we are a white, straight, Christian nation is pretty much everywhere.
Did you see the story today about the black couple that had their house for sale? No buyers.
Then a white friend volunteered to sit in the house while it was being shown, and the couple removed obvious articles in their house that signaled that they were black.
Sold the house for $50,000 more than they originally asked.
Yes.. it's EVERYWHERE.
