That was my point. Despite prodigious cash flow, BRK doesn't pay a dividend. Warren Buffett reinvests it. But you can still take a capital gain any time you want by selling a few shares if you need the cash.

If you've been at this long enough, you'll eventually get to the point where your dividends exceed your spending. It usually doesn't make sense to pay taxes on income you're not spending if you can help it.
