Well, I've managed to knit about a foot of scarf this evening and it is getting much easier. I'm also rather proud of the fact that I haven't managed to drop any stitches or create new ones out of thin air, and I've only dropped a needle maybe twice. And it was the empty needle both times.

Sounds like you're getting more comfortable! I drop needles (and stitches) all the time.

Dropping needles is another reason I love my circulars so much! Now that everything's attached together, I don't drop needles on the floor anymore.

Haven't figured out how to prevent dropped stitches, though...
