Triumph of the Wrong?

And Republicans are dead wrong."

It is quite remarkable that Krugman would lie so consistently to make his point. I am not aware of a single mainstream Republican that is suggesting that we make cuts in spending, much less sharp cuts. At best, they want to slow the growth of spending.

Krugman lied the same way about "austerity" in Europe. He wrote over and over again about the spending cuts in Europe. What spending cuts?

It's incredibly easy to make an argument when you can just make up "facts" instead of using objective evidence.
