Attention Fools of Louisiana!

Let's compile a list of all publicly traded companies either domiciled in, strongly connected to or with roots in LA. I am fairly ignorant of who we have here. Is Avondale public? Are they based in LA? Who would be the biggest? Freeport McMoran? Angelo Iafrate just bought out T.L. James & Co. Is Angelo Iafrate public?

Let's see how many we can put on a list, especially those that call LA home.

Yeah, I've seen that list too. Great list though kinda curious why they do not have Argosy Gaming Co.(NYSE:AGY). It is HQ'ed in Illinois but they own the "Belle of Baton Rouge" Casino in Baton Rouge, a major source of revenue for them. They are only up 240% YTD.....hmmmm. Also, I think either Royal Carribean or Carnival(Forget which one) owns a huge chunk of "Casino Rouge" in B.r. So.....

Thanks for all the info!

We have some great companies in the Bayou State. I hope to have time to transfer these to a list that gives a brief overview of what each company does.

Do you have a favorite among any of these home-grown companies?
