Last week we walked over the Brooklyn Bridge.

Did you have pizza or ice cream on the Brooklyn side? LOL.

Is Green-wood Cemetery in Greenpoint? We have visited that historical cemetery many times and have taken walking tours of it

No, Green-wood is not in Greenpoint - I think the area is Sunset Park.

We did our own walk there a few years back.

In another post, you mentioned picnics at Green-wood. Did you get the brochure where they explain the history?

From their website:

"By 1860, Green-Wood was attracting 500,000 visitors a year, rivaling Niagara Falls as the country’s greatest tourist attraction. Crowds flocked to Green-Wood to enjoy family outings, carriage rides and sculpture viewing in the finest of first generation American landscapes." "Green-Wood is a Revolutionary War historic site (the Battle of Long Island was fought in 1776 across what is now its grounds)."

And then there are the feral parrots:

Did you know that this past August, the cemetery was vandalized?
