I know that legal ethics is considered to be an oxymoron these days, but for the last month I have wondered about the 40 odd lawsuits filed claiming election fraud which were replete with claims for which they had absolutely no evidence at all.

Not once in my 40 years as a lawyer did I make factual allegations with no absolutely evidence to back them up because lawyers are supposed to be officers of the court who have investigated their claims and verified that they have some credible evidence to support them. If you file a lawsuit with absolutely no evidence to back it up, you can be referred to the Virginia State Bar for disciplinary proceedings which can range anywhere from a reprimand to a revocation of license.

I have been scratching my head for the last month wondering how the president's lawyers can get away with repetitively filing frivolous lawsuits without getting into trouble. I am apparently not the only one who had those concerns:
