Since no "authorities" have responded, I'll take a chance.

Several years ago one of the data sources used for the back tester made some very strong objections about the way the data was used and results presented. In order to work around that problem the results displayed show tickers at random but with the actual returns for the correct tickers. I have not looked directly at the tickers you presented as the correct ones. However, you should go one step farther and look at the returns for that month for what you show as correct ticker selection. I hope I am correct and that it resolves the issue. Jamie Gritton has done a wonderful service with great effort to get the returns correct over many years.
