Should we set a board spoiler policy?

My thought is if it has aired on US TV it is fair game. If you are reading off the internet and it hasn't aired here yet, then spoiler space should be used.

If someone is TiVOing and hasn't watched an event yet, they should avoid threads about that event. (No reason everyone else should avoid the topic)

Which does lead to the courtesy of mentioning the event in the subject line so people can avoid as needed.

Most of the big stuff will still be live (held in the AM China time) so this procedure should be sufficient. A word of warning, though: Be careful of ESPN and its sister channels since the result of non-live events as well as news items relating to the Olympics are run there.

Agreed - the simpler the better, IMO. e.g. "Men's 100m IM", "Women's Gymnastics Thursday", etc.

People who read the boards by clicking "Next" may want to switch to Unthreaded or Threaded Mode.
