May as well forget it, or so it seems.

I used to carry term insurance many years ago, but it doubled in price at 65, and then became totally prohibitive at 70.

Even the AARP "special deals" and "Colonial Penn" rates seem awful at this age. The rates are dreadful. $200+/month for $10,000? C'mon...

I understand why, obviously! Hell, why would anyone want to insure us old coots who are maybe going to kick off any time?

So just keep your money in your IRA or other investments, keep those growing as best you can, and hang in there!
